A pioneer in a new generation of entrepreneurial female producer/songwriters, Hannah V is currently working with some of the UK’s most in demand pop and urban artists including Stormzy, JP Cooper and Gorgon City. She is an advocate for women in music and regularly appears on panels to inspire others with her achievements and experience; most recently at BBC Live Introducing, the Royal Albert Hall and City Hall in London.
Born to South Indian parents, growing up in Berlin, Hannah came to the UK to study at the Royal Academy of Music. Since then she’s balanced a stunning performing career working for Rihanna, Jessie J, Eminem, Lalah Hathaway, Jason Derulo, Taio Cruz and Anastasia before being signed as an artist to Sony on Pitched Up.
2017 saw Hannah gain a Top 10 album that later went Gold in the UK, producing and co-writing tracks for JP Cooper’s debut album Raised Under Grey Skies on Island Records and most recently remixed the single ‘One Last Song’ for Gorgon City. She is also currently writing and producing for artists such as Misha B, Shystie, 5 time Grammy-winner Lalah Hathaway and MOBO nominated artist Andreya Triana.
Her single ‘It Ain’t Right’ became the soundtrack to make-up brand Rimmel’s global The Only One campaign and Hannah has subsequently been commissioned to write for Max Factor and Adidas. Hannah recently worked with JP Cooper as a brand ambassador for international coffee brand Julius Meinl and her track ‘Gold’ was used for a major US campaign for Michelob Gold; she is also a global brand ambassador for Yamaha, Focusrite, Arturia and Native Instruments.
